Red or white?

One of the most famous and appreciated red wines is Cabernet Sauvignon. Usually, its flavors are similar to green or tropical fruits. Also, this type has a quite big density, an intense taste and, because of its acid, it leaves a dry mouth. Specialists recommend combining Cabernet with sea food, salads or beef.
Another renowned red wine is Merlot. It is light, tastes like fruits and it is less dry than Cabernet. Pinot Noir is inferior to these two types, but it is delicate and has a complex taste.

Among white wines, Chardonnay is the most appreciated by specialists, having a rich taste and flavors that vary between lemon, apples, or vanilla. It is very popular and grown on all continents, representing 2% of vine cultivated areas. It is recommended along fish or bird meat. Then there is Sauvignon Blanc – a dry liquid, with acid taste and citric flavors. Like any white wine, it should be consumed with white meat.
